Multiple Teams · Hendricks new varsity girls basketball coach

The girls basketball team will have a new face at the head of the bench the upcoming 2017-18 season.  Brian Hendricks has been named the new varsity coach.  Hendricks most recently was coaching at Carmel Catholic High School in Illinois, prior to that he was at Mount Mary University and a graduate assistant at Marquette University with years coaching local AAU teams.

“We are excited to have Coach Hendricks on staff leading the program for further development and building on the recent success of the girls basketball team,” Athletic Director Michelle Guyant-Holloway stated.

Hendricks inherits a team that made it to the sectional final last year and the sectional semi-final the previous year. “I am very blessed and excited to be a part of the Tosa East Girls Basketball Program. I look forward to working with all the student athletes and staff to continue and grow the great girls basketball tradition at the school,” Coach Brian Hendricks.

A meet and greet will be held Wednesday, May 24 for all returning girls basketball players at 7:00pm in the Raider Room, with a meeting for parents at 7:45pm.
