Red Raiders News · Former Soccer Coach, Tim Winn, inducted into WSCA HOF

Former Wauwatosa East soccer coach, Tim Winn, was recently inducted in the Wisconsin Soccer Coaches Association Hall of Fame. Winn coached both programs throughout his time at Tosa East.  He coached the girls team from 1983-2008, mainly as the junior varsity coach, with a two-year stint as the varsity coach.  In those two years at varsity, he earned conference titles both years.  He also helped serve on the coaching staff for the girls varsity teams that won six conference titles – 1985, 86, 89, 90, 91, 95, three state championships in 1993, 96, 97 and three runners up in 1998, 99 and 2003.

On the boys side, he coached the freshman teams from 1982-87, then took over the varsity coaching duties in 1988 until 1995.  The 1990 team won the WIAA state championship, with teams qualifying for state in 1988 and 89.  In 1989, the team captured the conference title also.

He has also been a staple in the local Tosa Kickers Soccer Club, as coach and administrator for over thirty years.   Winn currently still competes in both indoor and outdoor adult soccer leagues.

Winn will be getting inducted this year into the Wauwatosa East Athletic Hall of Fame this July.
