Multiple Teams · Spring Season Recap: 2019


Well it was a wet one…or two….or three months for spring sports.  But we survived even with Mother Nature giving us a very soggy and cool spring.  Below is a brief description of how Tosa East spring teams finished the 2019 season.

Girls Soccer

Finished 2-5-1 in conference, 7th place
Overall record of 8-10-3
Three named All-Conference
Senior Sydney Halstead, Conference Player of the Year

Softball

Best record in program history, 8-8 in conference play, 6th place
Overall record 16-11
Cedarburg Tournament Champions
Six named All-Conference
Claudia Hay named All-District Honorable Mention

Girls Track/Field

Qualified 14 student athletes to state meet
Nine earned All-Conference
Finished 3rd at conference outdoor meet
Sectional meet team finish in 3rd place

Baseball

Finished 11-5 in conference, 3rd place
Overall record of 15-8
Won Regional Championship
Four named All-Conference
Coach named Coach of the Year

Boys Golf

Finished 3rd in conference
Team won Sectional, advanced to state meet
Finished 5th overall at state meet
Three earned All-Conference

Boys Tennis

Finished 7th i conference, earned 12pts.
Beaver Dam Invite Champions
Conference #1 singles and Player of the Year, sophomore Noah Viste
Viste qualified for state meet, finished in 7th place

Boys Track/Field

Qualified 16 student athletes to state meet
Nine earned All-Conference
Finished 2nd at conference outdoor meet
Sectional meet team finish in 2nd place
