The Freshman boys started a little sluggish the first half against Brookfield East. Down two points at half the Raiders gave up too many layups and free throws to trail at half. But coming out strong in the 2nd half, the freshman took control with a solid offensive showing, scoring 38 points to end the game.
Keon Pettigrew had 12 points, while teammate Marlon Boyd added 6, which were all in the 2nd half.
“Those two kids really helped us on both ends of the court tonight,” Coach Losinski explained. “They gave us a great spark off the bench that was great to see!”
Amarie Lucas once again showed his offensive fire power as well, scoring 14 in the game to lead the Raiders to a 7-1 start for the season.

The Freshman boys take on Sussex Hamilton at home Tuesday night, January 8th at 415pm.
