Red Raiders News · Boys Junior Varsity Cross Country Narrowly Misses Victory

  Place Points

The boys junior varsity squad narrowly missed sweeping the boys races by just one point. Germantown won the JV scoring with 27 points over Tosa East 28 and Nicolet 78.

The meet was run a bit differently than usual as schools were able to run their top 15 runners in one race and scoring runners 1-7 for varsity and 8-14 for JV was figured out later.

Placing second in the JV scoring was Tony Camacho in a PR 19:23. This was Tony’s first cross country 5k as he is new to the team this year. Right behind him in third place was John Thielke in 19:25, Conor Carroll placed 5th in 19:52, Jake Boeder placed 8th in 20:16, and Owen Spahr ran a PR 20:21 for 10th place in his first cross country 5k.

Also scoring for the team was Simon Gilkay in 20:40 (13th) and Liam Nolan in 21:58 (18th).
