Sophomore Jetta Mays also brought home a silver medal in the 100m dash. Her first 100m for the season and just missing her personal best by one tenth of a second, Mays ran 12.55!

The only first place of the day came from the 4x200m relay. Not only did the team of Senior Addison Devine, Sophomore Maia Mays, Junior Chandler Yow and Sophomore Jetta Mays win the event, they also set a new meet record with a time of 1:46.82!

Earning the team’s third, 2nd place finish of the day, the 4x100m relay came up big with some new names. Addison Devine lead off, with Chandler Yow on the 2nd leg, but new additions to the varsity team, Senior Payton Fitzgerald and Freshman Aliyah Reed-Hammon finished the race strong for the Raiders, with a time of 53.59.

Running a solid race in the 200m, Jetta Mays landed a third place finish with a time of 25.27. Her sister, Maia Mays placed fifth in the same event, running her personal best in a time of 26.51, which was only her 2nd time every running the event in high school.
