Henry Wellenstein finished 4th with a time of 16:19, Max Finco ran 16:57 for 14th place, Arthur Wellenstein ran 17:05 for 19th, Grant Heus ran a PR 17:12 for 22nd place, Nate Blischke finished 35th in 17:39, Liam Nicol placed 51st in 18:20, and Steven Koss placed 59th in 18:54.

Henry Wellenstein’s 4th place finish advances him to the state championship meet for the 3rd year in the row (2016 individual, 2017 team, 2018 individual).

On such a windy day it was good to see the team perform well and not let the unfavorable weather determine their fate. It was disappointing to finish 4th and not qualify for state as a team, but all the boys ran their best on the day and gave what they had. Competition was tough this year and we had very strong teams ahead of us.

It was also great to have Grant back in the line-up after he sat out the GMC meet due to illness. He came out strong and ran a PR on his birthday!
